We’re excited to share some wonderful updates happening at the Food Cupboard!
First, construction is currently underway to install a new accessible ramp to the entrance of the Brookfield Community Food Cupboard.
This important upgrade will make it easier for everyone in our community to access our services. We’re grateful for the progress and expect the work to be completed by next week.

We’re also celebrating the recent arrival of a beautiful fridge and freezer, specially dedicated to storing fresh vegetables. Thanks to generous donation, we now have safe, reliable cold storage that helps us keep produce fresh for our neighbours.
Through the kind efforts of Joanne Lynn from Holy Cross Church, we’ve partnered with Shouldice Farms to receive end-of-day donations from their sales kiosk at St. Timothy’s Presbyterian Church.
This week, we received a generous amount of freshly picked corn, green beans, broccoli, and yellow beans. These contributions bring healthy, delicious options to our Food Cupboard and directly benefit those we serve.
We also received two full boxes of food from the Revalie student residences.
Together, these improvements mean more access, more freshness, and more care for our community. Thank you to everyone helping us grow.
