The Brookfield Community Food Cupboard was proud to take part in the Rideau Canoe Club’s spring cleanup today.

Five of our volunteers joined the effort, helping rake leaves and support the event while connecting with community members. Alongside lending a hand, they shared information about the Food Cupboard and collected donations from Rideau Canoe Club members.

Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of those attending, we collected one full bin of food along with cash donations.

Every contribution helps us continue providing essential support to neighbours in our community. We are grateful to the Rideau Canoe Club for welcoming us and to our volunteers for showing up and making a difference.
