New Summer Hours & Donations

We are incredibly grateful for the generous support we have received from our community in recent weeks. We received monetary donations from Riverside Pub and Broadway Bar & Grill (Prince of Wales location), as well as many non-perishable food donations through a three-week food drive at Fielding Drive School.

We also received the first harvest of the season from the Thexton Garden at Riverside United Church, and we are now picking up fresh fruit weekly from a Shouldice Farms kiosk.

Please note that this Wednesday will be the final Wednesday of the school year and the last day of our regular operating hours before our summer schedule begins. We will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, for Canada Day. Beginning July 8, our summer hours will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout July and August. Regular hours will resume in September.

Several raised garden beds sit on a grassy lawn beside a community building. One bed in the foreground contains rows of bright green lettuce, while other beds farther back hold a mix of vegetables and plants. A cloudy sky hangs overhead, and a tall church spire rises in the background.
